Cargo requiring temperature control
Certain goods, due to their perishable nature (foodstuffs, flowers, plants…) or their sensitivity to extreme temperature variations (pharmaceutical or chemical products), require transport that adheres to specific temperature guidelines. Discover the expertise of HK Courses!
These products must consistently be maintained:
- In negative cold (frozen)
- In positive cold (refrigerated)
- In positive temperature (heated)
Mastering the “cold chain” during transport, in compliance with current hygiene and health standards, ensures food safety, the integrity of the transported products, and their intrinsic qualities.
This is a fact known to all, climate in Central and Eastern Europe, especially in Ukraine varies a lot from brutal heat in summer (over 40 degrees in Kyiv) and very cold in winter (-20 degrees is not an exception).
So HK’s pool of subcontractors include many owning temperature controlled transport units, for FTL, LTL and even van deliveries. Because nobody wants to transport some of these specific goods that might be damaged by these climatic conditions.
